| How Can We Support the Carpenters in their Church Planting Ministry? |
This is not a subject we initially thought of placing in our web site, however, since a
number of people have recently contacted us with this very question we decided it was
best to place the answer here.
Our greatest need for support is in the areas of Prayer, Encouragement and Financial
Gifts.
Prayer is critical for the ministry to be effective in establishing churches and calling
people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Your prayers are the backbone of
this ministry. We seldom realize how powerful our prayers are how timely they are. We
appreciate your prayers for us and our ministry.
Encouragement is vital for our health and our ministry. Encouragement is received
through your prayers, your e-mails, letters and cards and visits. Since we now have two
US phone numbers that ring in our home in Mexico City you also have the option of

Financial giving is a necessary aspect of our support. Your tax deductible gifts are used
to pay the expenses of the ministry. They too are an encouragement to us.
Each of these means of supporting us helps define with whom we are in partnership with
in this ministry. As your partners in ministry we are responsible to wisely use your gifts of
prayer, encouragement and financial giving. We are also responsible to report to you
how the ministry is progressing.
